3M Atherstone AAD Visitor Centre

HLN have obtained planning consent for a new customer visitor centre and training facility for 3M’s Automotive Aftermarket Division (AAD) in Atherstone.

The new building will provide a new workshop area and paint spray facility to replace those provided in the existing building. Additionally, the building will provide a customer/visitor reception area with exhibition space, a lecture/conference room, a viewing room for demonstrations in the workshop and paint spray areas, a small laboratory and lavatory facilities for visitors and changing areas with shower for operatives receiving training at the site.

The project, which received Planning Consent last summer, has been tendered and a contractor appointed to start on site on 27th February 2012.
